The Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Maricopa Public Library is a non-profit organization dedicated to support and enhance our Library. The Friends help support the Library by raising funds, which help support literacy programs and other activities, and volunteer our time and talents at the Library.
The mission of the Friends of the Maricopa Public Library is to develop resources to support library services and programs, and encourage enjoyment of reading, lifetime learning, and community involvement. The organization is dedicated to the service and support of the library through developing fund-raising opportunities, enhancing public relations, building active memberships, and recruiting volunteers.
The Friends of the Maricopa Public Library meet the second Monday of each month. The meetings are held at the Maricopa Public Libary in the Meeting Room. Everyone is welcome to attend the meetings but attendance is not required.
